Some updates on the awful killing of 3 police officers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The deceased suspect has been identified as Gavin Eugene Long of Kansas City, Missouri:

I suspect the answer is more economic than racial/political at its root; the latter are just convenient cover for economic failure. Some people are told from the cradle that they will never get ahead because of The Man; this is the outcome.
I was thinking the same thing.
I’ll give them a lot more than the middle finger.
***It will be interesting to see what is police record is.***
It will be interesting to see if he rolled into Baton Rouge last weekend with the Black Panther terrorists, sent to just set up a chapter in Baton Rouge of course. S/
That is true, and God help the family of that cop (imagine how senseless this must seem to THEM); the killer couldn’t request solely white cops to respond.
There is a reason these losers are rarely productively-employed people; eight years since Otoken’s coronation, blacks have fallen even further down the socio-economic ladder (nobody even thought that was possible). As bad as this economy is for everyone else, it is one with no place for most blacks in terms of education and work ethic. The dwindling number of employed blacks with whom I interact know that Hispanics can replace them in a heartbeat; they’ve already watched it happen throughout the company and the whole area...
I'm sure he also made a deal to leave the week of the DNC Convention alone as well.
I knew Obama had met with BLM a while back but last week, too?
WTH
Three are murdered, two others in a bad way and one with “non-life threatening injuries”, which still leaves a lot of room for serious, life changing misery.
Of the murdered officers, one was black, one was the father of a four month old boy, one had gotten hospitalized several years ago attempting (unsuccessfully, unfortunately) to save a child trapped in an apartment fire. I’m not sure if any of these overlap. Just getting poorly reported snippets now and then.
“I wonder why they always wait to publish the murderers muslime name?”
So that they don’t create a legal problem down the road. Prejudicing the jury pool or whatever. I’d rather hear it a little bit later and them have a solid case.
I know this will astonish some on this board but the US military does not solely consist of choir boys.
If it did there would be no need for the military to maintain prisons and they do and have since pretty much forever.
The military tends to be mostly good people trying to do the best they can. That does not and never has meant that every single one decent.
All I know is that since O has been in office we have had more shootings. I saw a graph posted here a while back which had I believe 4 former Presidents listed with the number of mass shootings during their terms. When Obama was listed the amount was double if not more than all the former ones listed.
And in the Era of Baraq, what career options are really available to those coming out of hs? The military is one of the few.
Drudge is saying in red headlines that the shooter was a member of the Nation of Islam and had made a YouTube recording railing against “crackers” (I don’t think he means of the Graham sort).
We’ve NEVER had a president spew hate and division so much EVER in our history.
Not even close.
I fear no matter who wins in November, civil war is coming.
I would NEVER say that lightly.
It's also worth noting so many people 1st going to FR for breaking news.
I sure hope FR continues to be funded.
IIRC, the first person killed by Mark Essex back in '73 was a black NOPD cadet on guard duty near a police facility. That's how Essex kicked-off his shooting spree against the New Orleans cops (fueled by association with the Black Panthers and a general hatred of white people). If black officers work alongside white officers, they are seen as targets by these animals.
we have to stop believing that just because they are “military” they’re some kind of saint.....they are not....they’re often disgruntled bitter men with no other offers for employment...and I say that with about a dozen military people in my family, all great people....
Most importantly, how many are on blm mailing lists, tweet followers or instant messaging groups.
