Donald Trump may be winning converts from an unlikely source — Democrats — a new unpublished poll shows.
What's more, according to the poll, Trump is tied with Hillary — and in fact, the Republican candidate is within striking distance in several historically Democratic states.
Sources I interviewed said the poll was conducted by the Harper Polling Firm for the U.S. Senate campaign of GOP State Rep. Dan Carter.
The as-yet published poll shows Trump tied with Clinton — each with 43 percent — in heavily Democratic Connecticut.

It wouldn’t be surprising to find out that white democrats are finally waking up to the fact that the democrat party despises them, and works against their interests at every turn.
Connecticut was put up as a possible Romney win back in 2012. He lost by 16 points. If Trump really is tied with Clinton in CT then he will win in a landslide.

My piece of #### state is gone at 16 percent (NY) and CA is gone.
But that wont matter at all if Ohio, Florida, PA, NJ and others are won!!!!

I live in Connecticut and the enthusiasm here for Trump is way stronger than it was for Romney in 2012. In 2014, the Democrat governor won re-election only by the skin of his teeth and things have gone downhill since.
He converted open borders Paul Ryan too! Ryan sent out mailers proudly demonstrating his support of border protection.
I think any GOP candidate would be converting Democrats this year.

I’ve said this since last year, Trump will cross over and win democats in VERY large numbers... Republicans finally have a candidate that will play to the blue collar worker... Trump is heading for a landslide win.
Originally was hesitant to believe it would reach 1980 levels, but at this point, its looking more and more likely by the day

This country is going to return to traditional values that liberals hate. Values that were fought for in the late 1700’s and by the greatest generation.
