I’m with you. This is more media crappola. As politically savvy as Christie is, he would know that a president from NY and a vice president from NJ just wouldn’t work. And Trump didn’t get to be so successful and well-liked as he is by deliberately humiliating people he was associating with.

Pence is a fair candidate selection, not the best, not the worse. Outside the Oval office though, we will also need champions to run to the ground some of these run away departments and agencies not to mention the supreme court. First order of business will be to root out those who have borrowed into the general schedule and those who were placed in important high level career positions from which to do damage.

Yep. I don’t think the paleomedia has gotten it right even one single time in this cycle about Trump’s candidacy. I suspect there are some of them on synthetic opioids still waiting for him to ‘implode any minute’.
NPR this morning had some nevertrump woman saying there are better candidates and she will continue to bring this to the floor of the convention.

yep. total enemedia agiprop. it’s just one more not-quite-subtle anti-trump meme after another with the enemedia. first it was the “great revolt” of the GOP delegates they pounded on for weeks, which turned out to be nothing more than an entire dozen of dumbasses, and after that non-story turned out to be a non-story (which most of us here knew all along), the enemedia pretended for a couple more days afterwards that it “wasn’t over”.
And now since Pence is too much of a non-enity to find anything good to dig into that will stick, they’re gonna pretend the “losers” are pissed.
Christie’s gonna make one helluva AG and have FAR more influence on the FedGov than he ever would as VP.
