Just because I’m a supporter I don’t have to verify because well it’s my guy and you lost so bleh!

That seems to be the way the game is played here at FR. More bandwagon jumpers than when the circus comes to town.

Oh, and I heard Ted Cruz beats his dog and Donald Trump cheats at golf.

Cruz is far too busy with his eight mistresses to be involved with anything like this. But some people will believe anything the media tell them as long as it fits with the narrative they want to hear.

I don’t know the validity of this, but Cruz would do his political career and image a lot of good if he came to the convention, endorsed Trump graciously, and worked for a Republican victory. To do otherwise will make him unelectable unless he switches parties.

Canada has the exact type of birthright citizenship as the US. How would a person born in Canada reach the age of 44 without knowing that? Stupidity? Ignorance?

If you say ignorance, then Cruz lacks integrity. He was willing to pass himself off as a NBC of the US without doing even 5 minutes’ worth of research into his Canadian roots.

Cruz’s parents never filed for Canadian citizenship for Ted. Canada did not permit dual citizenship prior to 1977, meaning that the mere fact that Ted claimed American citizenship inherently nullified his Canadian citizenship until 2009. And Ted-Birthers take note: even his long absence from Canada alone, without taking any action to preserve his citizenship, would have caused his citizenship to be nullified. In 2009, Canada rescinded the prohibition against dual citizenship and automatically reinstated the citizenship of everyone who had lost it.

When challenged on his Canadian citizenship in 2010, he literally could not possibly have known he was a Canadian citizen for more than a year.

He damn well knew he was a Canadian citizen and DID NOTHING to change that until he was exposed. Only a fool would believe a man of bis intellect would not have known

Please read post #106.

To wit: Inquiring into his citizenship status in Canada before 2009 would have resulted in being told, “No. You are not a Canadian citizen.”

You are flat out wrong. Go back and read the Dallas Morning News story that first reported Cruz’ Canadian citizenship. Numerous citizenship lawyers are quoted in it. They ALL said point blank Cruz was a Canadian citizen at birth. Every single one.

Well that I’ll certainly agree with, and one of the reasons I still continue to despise the man-child. He is nothing more than a sore loser. He is going to find out that voters do not like sore losers, and he will continue to be a loser. My prediction is he fails to win re-election for his Senate seat.

The date for the election for his seat isn't until November 6, 2018. So to my knowledge no one has thrown their hat into the ring as of yet. He said he will seek reelection though.

However, he has yet to endorse Donald Trump, stoking speculation that he is angling for another run in four years.

So he’s hoping for Hillary to be elected? After she appoints several Justices, he will be president of a Banana Republic. Idiot!! I hate these people who care more about their egos than the welfare of the country.

I would assume many on this board share your sentiment. I know I do.
