“One threat the Cruz forces are said to be holding... is the specter of a large group of delegates..simply leaving town after Cruz speaks on Wednesday night”

If that is a threat, cancel Cruz’s speech and tell the Cruz delegates adios, sayonara, and don’t let the door hit your asses on the way out.

Tantruming Cruzlims already pulled that stunt at the TX GOP convention.

Are you seriously saying that Cruz was unaware he was a Canadian citizen when he ran for senate? Please you have to be brighter than that.

Is Fiorina there ?

In a political convention first, the ballon drop nets are deployed around the edge of the stage to catch Carly if she falls off again .

Ted's already shown he's not living up to his pledge to support the eventual candidate. He's walking on thin ice already.

Yes, it’s Cruz himself. He could sit this crap from his supporters down with a word.

Trump enters the nomination with 1543 delegates to Cruz’s 559 delegates...Trump only needed 1237 delegates, you do the math...plus Trump brought into the Republican party around 14 million new voters... plus he raised in less than 24 hours over 11 million dollars last month...now with all of that, do you really think anyone in their right mind are going to pick Cruz over Trump??? Cruz CANNOT beat Hillary, Cruz couldn’t even beat Trump, so what makes him think he can beat Hillary? He knows he can’t this is all insanity by Cruz!!!

Notice how it says “mulling.” Mulling isn’t taking action. This is just MSM drivel.

I am in contact with several delegates and alternates. They are among those who are standing in solidarity with the Trump campaign to harshly quash any sore loser nonsense. Sore losers do not number more than a hundred or so delegates.

Sore losers think that many delegates who remain polite to them will support the sore losers in a fight of some kind. The sore losers are wrong.

I respected Cruse and would have voted for him but not any more. He is not only a sore loser, he’s not a team player. Good or bad, the voters have spoken, now pick up your marbles and go home.

Oh FFS. Whorealdo was on camera awhile ago and chose to breathlessly follow protestors outside. Honestly, there were more cameras and cellphone camera idiots than there were marchers...yet, there it is, right on the front page of fox news..

Trump enters the nomination with 1543 delegates to Cruz’s 559 delegates.

It wasn’t even that close since a good chunk of “Cruz” delegates were based on never Trump votes.

If Trump hadn’t come out of the gate with substantive positions he’d have lost. His Positions Page always had for more hard info than Cruz’.

I do agree that the debates were about anything but substance. That is not Trump’s fault. It is the fault of the RNC. Evidently, it’s a fault they love, because they turn their candidates over to the same vapid, conservative-hating moderators in every single cycle.

You said it more succinctly than I was going to put it, Liz.
Let’s see—
He “blundered” by making false filings, not expecting that anyone would actually look into his signed representations (much like signing an oath), but in any event, it’s someone else’s fault.

We’ve had enough of this kind of `happy crappy’ from Obama and Hillary. I can’t believe anyone is still defending this guy. Even if it is Fox, I wouldn’t put anything past him.

It is time for Ted to move on and take his followers with him. They probably put a lot of money in his campaign and feel jilted.

I so wanted Ted Cruz to win the nomination, but that battle is over. My candidate lost. But you better believe, that when I enter that booth on election day, I will be voting for Trump.
