If that was entirely true, then why did I hear the speaker -- after a sudden unscheduled intermission -- come back to the podium and say there had been enough withdrawals of objections to adopting the rules, that there was not enough to invoke point-of-order roll call, leaving it then to be determined by voice vote "heard". weighed and judged by the guy at the podium?
