Omarosa Manigault, a contestant on season 1 of Donald Trump's reality show The Apprentice, has been named the director of African American Outreach for the presumptive GOP nominee's campaign. She announced the news in an interview with MSNBC on Monday, July 18.

I agree wholeheartedly that the differences, as they are, should not be pointed out but they consciously exist in a large percentage of society as a whole so overcoming this divisive attribute may require someone who understands that culture from that perspective.
I do agree, but when one segment of the population continues to vote for one party in knee jerk fashion, it is time to change that. The Democrat party only survives by taking black America for granted.

From a biblical viewpoint, it isn’t necessarily stupid. There is wisdom in a multitude of counselors.
Sure, Donald’s point man there is probably going to get the usual “Uncle Tom” cat calls. But that doesn’t mean he still can’t try to furnish a saner perspective.
I watched season 1 of The Apprentice. Omarosa was with the other female contestants and one said to her,”Isn’t that like pot calling the kettle black?” Omarosa called the woman a racist. Despite the other women explaining that it was a non-racial idiom, Omarosa still portrayed it as a racist incident to Trump. She lied her way through the season. I think she stayed as long as she did because the producers wanted her around for the drama. But maybe she’s changed.

Diamond and Silk are quite good at articulating their opinions though Ms. Omarosa would be able to do so in a more professional manner - no disrespect to D&S.

We can ignore reality, or adapt to it.
I’m one of those who holds Trump’s feet to the fire when he makes a stupid move or remark, but one of his most impressive and consistent talents is hiring incredible people to fill certain roles. I think this is a very good PR move, and I have no reason to doubt the choice. Hopefully she helps Trump pull in record numbers of black votes in NOV.
That Trump realizes he needs to battle the race hustlers by getting a message out shouldn't be met by your form of racism.
Reaching out like Democrats, with the usual tragic results.
This is a chance to show what “reaching out like Republicans” looks like.

Highlighting the people who haven’t let widespread social ideas about race trip them up on the way to success, would be a very welcome message indeed.
Let’s simply ask this question if we must. Why don’t modern immigrants from Africa have these same troubles of rage and impotence? Could it be because of what they deemed to be important?
Having a bunch of cerebral pasty skinned middle aged dudes habitually pontificating esoteric dogma was never going to work. Youth, vigor, a can do attitude, out of the pigeonhole dynamic action is what will need to be done. I suspect Omarosa is up to the challenge. If not, Trump will have to say: "Omarosa.....you're fired."
