Well, that’s a fail. My post says Ted Cruz will not endorse Ted Cruz. He would if he could. I meant to say he won’t endorse Trump.

I won’t wast my time listening to Cruz. He has nothing to say that I want to hear.

I was an early Cruz supporter before he went weird. If Hillary wins I do not think Cruz will do well in 2020. The bloom is off the rose. But he can establish himself as a tiger in the Senate and regain some respect.

CNN would know whether Lyin’ Ted is going to endorse Trump or not. After all, his former staffer and alleged mistress, Amanda Carpenter, is on their payroll.

Good luck with that though, sore loser Cruz.

If Ted Cruz runs for president in 2020, I will vote against him.

Or maybe we should wait and hear what he has to say, instead of relying on CNN sources.

As I posted on an earlier thread about Kasich, a few years into Trump’s administration, when the economy is roaring and national pride has returned, Cruz will tell an interviewer, “You know, a lot of people forget I supported him all along.”

If Trump loses due to #nevertrump, there’s no chance Trump supporters will support Cruz

This may work in Trump’s favor. There are those who are fencesitters who will view this as an olive branch and instead of Cruz being a good sport and working to beat Hillary, he will be seen as a petulant child throwing a temper tantrum.

Cruz’s career is finished, he just hasn’t realized it yet.

You know, I too, hope CNN is wrong. If CNN is wrong and Cruz endorses Trump tomorrow, serve me crow. However I have rather suspected this would be the Cruz ploy. I am so thoroughly disgusted with this dishonorable wretched manipulating liar who would put his own stubborn pride and career ahead of the country.

I remember all the debates here with the Cruzer holdouts who even this week told us the #NeverTrump delegates were not Cruz people...and who assured us in no uncertain terms that Cruz would endorse Mr. Trump once Trump becomes the NOMINEE...they took great pains to parse the words “presumptive” nominee versus “actual” nominee. They said the pledge was to endorse the NOMINEE, not the PRESUMPTIVE NOMINEE.

Well, Cruzers, Mr. Trump is in fact the GOP Nominee. What say you now????

Wouldn’t it be fun to have a time machine and go back to a year ago last May and say that at the RNC 2016, many Freeport would boycot Ted Cruz’s convention speech and applaud both Chris Christy and Rudy Guliani’s.

I’d be zotted in seconds.

Hmm, might last an hour if I said not one Bush would bother showing up, that Mitt Romney would only be there in spirit of supporting Ted Cruz due to a common enemy, and that there would be a standing ovation for Bob Dole.

If Cruz comes out tomorrow night and commits political suicide on national T.V., it hurts no one but Cruz. It certainly wont sway crossover Democrats or Independents not to vote for Trump. On the contrary. Most of those voters probably hate Cruz, and any lack of endorsement from him would probably make them like Trump all the more. As far as Republican NeverTrumpers, a good portion of them will finally see Cruz for the self serving fraud that he is, and get behind Trump.

I wonder if Mr. Cruz realizes that “Never Trump” would have been “Never Cruz” if Trump wasn’t in the race, and he was ahead? It other words, does Cruz realize that he was only used by the GO-PEE as a weapon against Trump?

Apparently that hasn’t occurred to him.
