A couple of years ago, the SEC made up some rule that if you appeared on the business channel and advocated some company or stock, you had to have a note on the screen or have it mentioned that you owned stock in the company or you didn’t own stock in the company.
Maybe it’s time to require anyone talking politics on TV...to such an identifier noted....they are a registered republican to vote, or a democrat to vote. Just flash it across the screen....five seconds whenever they start talking politics.
