Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine has emerged as the clear favorite a day before Hillary Clinton is expected to announce her running mate.
Clinton confidants and allies believe Kaine is the leading contender. And some top allies have recommended that Clinton pick the Virginia Democrat.
“I would bet all my chips on Kaine,” one confidant of Clinton said on Thursday.
Kaine has long been seen as a favorite to be Clinton’s running mate, though a number of other names have made the cut.

On the other hand this time last week a lot of people were positive that Newt or Christie would be Trump's pick so one might take this with a large grain of salt.
Could be that given other personal/legal issues, everyone else is ruled out?

Tim Kaine is the guy who hired a Libyan jihadi from the Muslim Brotherhood to serve as head of VA governor Kaine’s Virginia Commission on Immigration.
Naturally, the first thing the jihadi did was appear in front of the Muslim American Society calling for jihad in Libya, praising Palestinian suicide bombers, and denouncing Israel.
Governor Kaine said “Why, I had no idea!” and asked for his resignation. Then Kaine made comments like “Jihad just means ‘to struggle’ for Muslims” and “Allahu Akhbar just means ‘Gee whiz!’ you know...”
Sure, Hillary. Make this guy your running mate.
Debates are as rigged as professional wrestling.
