Congressman Steve King of Iowa violated the greatest taboo in mainstream American politics. He defended White people, and said their contributions to civilization were greater than other groups.
His remarks were in response to a leftist political commentator, Charlie Pierce, who said that Republicans should stop being the party of old White people.

Positive associations between human intelligence and brain size have been suspected for more than 150 years. Nowadays, modern non-invasive measures of in vivo brain volume (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) make it possible to reliably assess associations with IQ.
By means of a systematic review of published studies and unpublished results obtained by personal communications with researchers, we identified 88 studies examining effect sizes of 148 healthy and clinical mixed-sex samples (>8000 individuals).
Our results showed significant positive associations of brain volume and IQ (r=.24, R(2)=.06) that generalize over age [you left that part out] (children vs. adults), IQ domain (full-scale, performance, and verbal IQ), and sex.
Application of a number of methods for detection of publication bias indicates that strong and positive correlation coefficients have been reported frequently in the literature whilst small and non-significant associations appear to have been often omitted from reports.
We show that the strength of the positive association of brain volume and IQ has been overestimated in the literature, but remains robust even when accounting for different types of dissemination bias, although reported effects have been declining over time.
While it is tempting to interpret this association in the context of human cognitive evolution and species differences in brain size and cognitive ability, we show that it is not warranted to interpret brain size as an isomorphic proxy of human intelligence differences.

I agree, you cannot make specific statements and apply them to individuals. We have both met very admirable, intelligent and outstanding black men and women. However, statically speaking, these individuals are not the norm.
This study simply shows the “why” we see the global mess we see with blacks. Every Black Country on the planet, every black managed city in the USA is a dump, every predominantly black neighborhood is full of gangs, drugs, unemployment, violence and hate.
I wish it wasn’t true; but the fact is that we both know that it is. And this is not limited to any country or period in time. It’s been this way since the dawn of mankind. This is perhaps the reason why.

Consider, Blacks never colonized outside of Africa. They had no seaworthy vessels, they enslaved and sold their neighbors and that is how Blacks transplanted. But the statements remain true. Sub-Saharan blacks didn't weave cloth, forge metal, irrigate, build bridges, have a written language, understand mathematics, have a structured society with laws - until they made contact with the white man. They lived like this for hundreds of years, there is no reason to believe they would have magically advanced on their own. Meanwhile, we are told that every shortcoming the black community has is somehow the white man's fault. It's our fault that blacks have drug problems, have low grades, have high unemployment, out of wedlock childbirth, etc. Name the problem, and it's "racism". Oh if only the white man didn't do something - or did more for them. The bottom line is that Blacks tend to be lazy, and slothful. Good enough just tends to be good enough. So you have evidence that pre-contact sub-Saharan blacks DID forge metal, weave cloth, build irrigation systems, create a written language, create a system of social laws, engage in oceanic ventures and other things? If so, there is probably a Nobel prize in store for you.
The facts are, they didn’t. And if you want to fantasize that they did, if that will make you feel better; knock yourself out.
But be mature enough to realize fact when it smacks you upside the head. Some people invent, some people sit and remain stagnant. Some cultures advance and some are STILL, after generations of sitting with their hands out, STILL completely dependent upon the charity of others to maintain subsistence living. Christian churches have been feeding, clothing and helping some of these countries for 60+ years. If what you say is so blatantly “racist”; please let me know when you expect these countries to be able to stand on their own and feed themselves?
Steve King's comments about almost all of modern science and technology being the contribution of the dreaded "old white man" were exactly on target, but if you think these or any other facts will ever silence the Left, you're kidding yourself. Instead, the Left will use this as grist for their propaganda mill of crying "racist" when faced with uncomfortable facts.
Now most Mormons believe something quite similar; with NO evidence!
