No, but it does make a certain amount of sense. If a right handed shooter had a weak grip on the gun, pressing the trigger would have sent the round low and to the left. I suspect Mr Kinsey has a bullet wound in his left tukus.

Just the same, why did he not confirm that the person he was shooting at was carrying a firearm and not a toy truck before he decided to fire? I go back to what I said yesterday - the officer should probably consider a career in retail security.

I'd add that maybe North Miami PD should consider training their officers in how to deal with the mentally ill and mentally handicapped. We had a shooting of a mentally ill, non-compliant, man several years ago. The department instituted training and the problem has not recurred.

Nope.

Some fat guy sitting on the ground playing with a toy truck can only look like a threat to someone whose primary purpose is to find someone they can shoot.

The made up defense is worse than what happened.
