If you didnt notice which you probably havent, because its still unbearably hot the years longest heat wave has ended, but that doesnt mean the temperatures cooling off that much, or for that long. In fact, another heat wave is likely in store.
The city and surrounding areas have been issued an excessive heat watch for this weekend. The National Weather service said a coming heat wave could bring the highest temperatures of the summer, starting tomorrow. Highs will reach the mid to upper 90s, according to the NWS.
Dont surprised if temperatures soar into the triple digits on Saturday and Sunday. Heat index values are expected to reach as high as 105 degrees

John Kerry wants you to turn off the AC to save the planet!
Just said on news will feel like 106 in Philly on Monday.
They have concealed carry.
Sounds like a typical summer day in Houston.
Yes heat index 106, humidity mid 50%. an that part of Philly in right in the middle of the city.
Oh it’s going to be hot! Have you seen Twitter today? Bernie Bros are LIVID over the DNC emails released by WikiLeak today.
One Tweet says, I don’t want to say this but Trump is right. The system was rigged against Bernie.
They are threatening to burn the convention down (figuratively)
Democrats! I call you to live to you pledges to protect the environment, stop the ocean rise and to reduce fossil fuel use! Your party’s current leader, President Obama, and former nominee, John Kerry, have both labeled climate change as an equal danger to ISIS! Turn OFF your air conditioning, live your rhetoric! Sweat out you DNC Convention! Use plenty of corporate produced anti-deodorant/anti-perspirant!
Record high in Philadelphia for July 21st (yesterday) was 103 degrees, set in 1930. Record highs for next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (July 26-28) were 101, 100, and 100 degrees, set in 1892, 1940, and 1941 respectively.
All-time record high for Philly was 106, on August 7, 1918.

No air conditioning , John Kerry. /s
Hope bammy issues an executive order to turn off those evil air conditioners that Kerry said were more dangerous than Isis.
Amen, last DNC they voted down God.Amazing to watch.Hillary will have her pro-abort friends there and she will talk about helping the children.Could write the script-all of us could.Out on the street they are building a wall to keep protesters away cause DNC is special.Stupid peasants.Stand on asphalt God only knows how hot it will be.All I know is all leaves and vacations were cancelled so we had to cancel Ours because both my Son’s and many other parents adult Children will be there to protect them from themselves.
Miserable huh? Try it with 100% humidity EVERY DAY for 6 months! In September Philly, NYC, Minneapolis, etc will have nice crisp FALL weather-the Gulf South will be sweltering and praying for no hurricanes. In October you will have a refreshing cool Halloween- our pumpkins will rot and collapse, turning to slime in the 80-90 heat. Same for November. Christmas- summer clothes and Frosty the Snowman with the air conditioners running, unless we’re VERY lucky( which is rare). So, not a whole lot of sympathy. Heat index here today 109, in the 90s at NIGHT. I hate the South- and I LOATHE summer.
Hell come to Philly. In many way.
“God giving delegates a foretaste of eternity?”
I like that. Four gold stars for you in your life’s report as you enter heaven’s gate.
We did a road trip out east last month. Was hot - low 90’s in Philly, mid 90’s Washington, upper 90’s in Utah. Utah was much better than the humid east coast to our cool-weather acclimated bodies - but still hot.
When we pulled into our Washington State driveway it was upper sixties. I see the high today will also be upper 60’s, and low seventies tomorrow. I know some might think that too cool - but we are still enjoying it.
(Mid 80’s next week - so perhaps we might still have a week or two of summer this year.)
PA is shall issue for concealed carry.
And, there is a state pre-emption law. Philly bans carry in parks, but this is not in line with the state pre-emption.
There are 10,000 police in the City of Phila.
They will stink plenty without the beans
Pa is open carry
