I don’t understand this choice. Kaine doesn’t add much to the ticket.
Both Hillary and Kaine are insiders. Zero gain.
Both are supposedly foreign policy experts. Zero gain.
Both are white liberals. Zero gain.
He supposedly is a friend of the military (according to some). Slight gain (since he’s a liberal).
He speaks Spanish. Nice, but they already have most of the Spanish speaking vote.

Hillary had Reservations about Elizabeth Warren, Chief among those was she Brave enough to put on the War Paint and ride into battle.
Warren was angry that Hillary was an Indian Giver about the position, and wanted to Pow Wow with her, and maybe smoke the Peace Pipe and bury the Hatchet.
Maybe.... everyone but Hillary knows she is losing, and Caine is the only one that would join her on a sinking ship.
Maybe Shrillary thinks Kaine will win her back some of the Indie votes that have deflected to Trump.
Also, VA is a must win for her, although I don’t think the VP has much bearing on vote totals. Paul Ryan didn’t help Romney one bit with WI.
Hillary feels vulnerable in Virginia and thinks that having Kaine on the ticket will give her a better chance, maybe?
I think things are going to shift significantly in Trump’s favor between now and November and we’ll see Hillary losing a number of “safe” states.
Hitlery’s eyesight has been going. Her doctor told her she would need a white cane, and she thought he was talking about the election.
It’s even harder to understand the Hillary! pick as the top of the ticket.

Moderate Republicans want to get away from Trump....and Kaine makes her seem “safer” for them to at least not vote.
He could tip the scale in Virginia, which is an important state for Trump.
The Bernie Sanders crowd will voter for her anyway.
The reality is, the real rank and file Republicans can’t stand HRC, and as Pence and Trump continue along with Cruz shooting himself in the foot, they will show up and vote Trump.
Then as far as VA goes. Gore could not carry TN, Hillary won’t carry Arkansas, Paul Ryan didn’t bring in Wisc and Trump probably won’t win NY. I don’t think Kaine is popular enough to alone win VA or make a ton of difference.
The Bernie looneys will hate this, and it makes them more likely for them to sit home and not vote.
