The release of more than 20,000 pages of hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee competed on Saturday with the big reveal of Virginia Senator Tim Kaine as the running mate of presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton.
On Friday, Wikileaks dropped a bombshell cache of DNC emails. Several weeks ago, Russian hackers were reported to have breached the DNC's servers, but on Saturday Wikileaks refused to disclose where it had obtained the trove of data.
Among other things, the documents purport to show the party apparatus favoring Clinton's campaign over the insurgency of Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders. On a number of occasions, high level DNC officials liaised with counterparts on Clinton's team to discuss ways to push back against stories that painted the Clinton campaign in a negative light.

Opportunistically, GOP nominee Donald Trump leaped into the fray to blast Democrats for their perceived treatment of Sanders, calling it "really vicious."

The DNC has repeatedly denied it favored any candidate in particular. However, a frequent refrain by Sanders throughout his insurgent campaign was that it was "rigged" by Democrats intent on handing the nomination to Clinton, the clear favorite of the Democratic establishment.

The rumor is that wikileaks is a Russian gov’t operation. It’s not just a bunch of happy amateur hackers. And if the rumors are correct Russia has decided that they don’t like Hillary any better than we do.
Even if the information were simply obtained and released to wikileaks by the Russians, it is certainly plausible given the Clinton history regarding NATO. She's also responsible to no small degree for the policies in Ukraine, and the destablization of the middle east and north africa.
I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Putin wanted to try and work with Trump instead of continue the same bizarre policy we have now where the US arms ISIS and chides Russia for blowing up the equipment in Syria.
Yeah, that’s my suspicion about their motive as well.

If the Democrats act so unethically among themselves, imagine all the criminal activity and voter fraud Republicans will experience in the general election.
I don't need to imagine. I can remember Bush V Gore 2000. I assume similar events or worse will occur.
The Russians have had their run ins with Muslims, and; they damn sure do not like them period. Recall the Russian school where the Muslims held hostages years ago and killed young kids. Add the Russian Army in Afghan. The Russians damn sure had little to do with the likes of those from the Muslim country where the Boston bomber was from. They see Hillary like Obama allowing Muslim world domination. We have got millions of our own mow to deport. Hillary would add many more.

The dead, illegal immigrants, those with multiple personalities, those with multiple residencies and those with multi state voter registrations will be the margin of victory in November. Trump should immediately start recruiting poll watchers in swing states as he possibly can.
