Gun control has been a divisive topic in American discourse lately, and as Elam discussed the pros and cons of gun control she offered the opinion that guns are not needed, even for self defense.
“So, about gun control. It’s a hot topic nowadays. The pros of gun control are less guns mean a safer world, ” said Elam. “Gun control laws are correlated to lower rates of violence. Guns are not needed to defend against government. The key to protecting our society is information, and guns are not needed, even for self defense.”

Meanwhile this same government (with their eager puppets in the media) does its best to conceal, distort or outright lie about nearly everything and persecute those who go outside of official paths to discover what is really happening. So much for information saving us when the government wants to disarm us both literally and on the knowledge front.

That fact that she did so is bad. Maybe she can be educated, but she may be a committed liberal.
To be fair, there's a smidgen of a chance that a theory from one poster on the original site is true. She might just be stating pros and cons in an impartial manner, and the anti-gun appearing bias is a hatchet job by the newspaper. It's not like we would put this past the media.

Using your much heralded statistics by Obama this week, that crime since the 1990’s has been halved would be a good place to start that discussion.
Gun ownership has also doubled during that same period.
