I know where you’re coming from. While I’ve never lived there, we’ve been to Nice several times, most recently a month before that event. We were along that section of the Promenade de Anglais 10-12 times during the trip.

This is very DARK.
It is a potent economic weapon. They cancelled a music festival, plus people are just going to stay home after all these incidents. After the country goes into recession because people are locked up at home all the tome, and people lose their jobs, then more people may start having second thoughts about their leaders letting these people in.
