I ak this important question: Where are the fathers of these young men?
Maybe if they had a positive father figure around, they never would have gotten themselves into the predicaments that cost them their lives.
Oh, I know, we can’t talk about that. Single moms are the third best thing in the world behind gays and transgenders.

Ever since that time, there is virtual silence on the issue of single motherhood. We are not allowed to discuss that subject. We are not allowed to say that children need fathers.
Black culture has devolved into a baby mama culture. Other ethnic groups are moving in the same sad direction.
We hear about black young men commit disproportionate amounts of crime. I wonder if we take race out of the equation, as to how much crime and gang violence is committed by young men who have had no father raising them?? That could be a very interesting study.
Having no positive fathers around to teach young males respect for authority seems to make the young males think they can mouth off to/fight with the police. Which usually ends badly for the young males.
I agree with the positive Father figure, but they seem to be hard to find, in the black community. In the case of Trayvon and Brown, I believe both Dad's were/are gang members, and criminals. Not much to look up to, unless you want to be a thug. Which both Trayvon and Brown, turned out to be.
There Mom's were not much better, since they only seemed to care about them after they were dead.
