Seven mothers united in grief over losing their children to gun violence or excessive use of force by police will put their message in the spotlight tonight when they deliver a speech at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.
The group known as the Mothers of the Movement includes Sybrina Fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin, who was shot while walking in his neighborhood in 2012, and Lezley McSpadden, the mother of Michael Brown, whose death in Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014 at the hands of a police officer set off nationwide protests.

Maybe if they had a positive father figure around, they never would have gotten themselves into the predicaments that cost them their lives.

Are they trying to say that the GOP is killing the criminal young men? Or that Trump will kill the criminal young men? I guess I would like to know, what is the PURPOSE of the DNC going down this path? To show that GOP is racist for not promoting BLM?

Taking away my guns will not stop your felon sons from gang banging, assaulting police officers or attempting to murder short, pudgy, Hispanic, Obama supporters. Therefore, it won’t help “gun violence”.
The greatest threat facing this country today is the media. Without them, the race agitators would never get covered and the democrats would be a regional party at best.

Ever since that time, there is virtual silence on the issue of single motherhood. We are not allowed to discuss that subject. We are not allowed to say that children need fathers.
Black culture has devolved into a baby mama culture. Other ethnic groups are moving in the same sad direction.
We hear about black young men commit disproportionate amounts of crime. I wonder if we take race out of the equation, as to how much crime and gang violence is committed by young men who have had no father raising them?? That could be a very interesting study.
