Tragic that parents of a thug killed while attacking the police are invited to the DNC convention but not the parents of a dedicated officer killed by a thug in an ambush.

This is an enormous mistake by the DNC and I think they know it.
Needs to be heavily regulated. We need to a body of regulators elected by the people to clamp down on the misuse of media by leftwing activists who cannot help themselves when it comes to attempting manipulation of the public.

The current "Push Gay" propaganda is so thick now that you can hardly find a television show in which "gay" doesn't get mentioned at least once in the show.
The media has become a weapon, and if we don't do something about that weapon, it is going to destroy us, and it will subsequently destroy them too.
Nuke-hammering the Media industries is something that desperately needs to happen before they precipitate the mass bloodshed that will come from their endless streams of propaganda.

The problem isn't just the absent father. It's the crazy mother. I wonder how many of these women are mentally stable. They end up in a series of relationships -- ultimately driving the men away.
This is not to imply that all single mothers have a screw loose. But I do notice recurrent personality issues. They seem to gravitate toward the Democratic party.
Fortunately or unfortunately the DNC made a lot of missteps. One is allowing these kind of people to take the stage, essentially the tail wagging the dog. When Michelle Obama brought up the topics of race & gender (having a woman president follow a black one) I knew it was all about identity politics.
Not one of the people I saw there (at least on TV) looked in any way conventional or normal.
Many of the young girls are sexually abused by the thug boyfriends the women have coming and going. Then they become breeders at a young age for the next generation of criminals.
Democrats don’t offer a lot of hope or change. But Michelle Obama got hers, right? She’s a multi-millionaire so NOW the country is great!
I agree with the positive Father figure, but they seem to be hard to find, in the black community. In the case of Trayvon and Brown, I believe both Dad's were/are gang members, and criminals. Not much to look up to, unless you want to be a thug. Which both Trayvon and Brown, turned out to be.
There Mom's were not much better, since they only seemed to care about them after they were dead.
