It's interesting, after CNN get stumped by their own polls showing Trump's speech was a grand success to the little people, NBC claims there is no change. There is no change in the polls, do you understand? No change. Please return to your seats.

Bounce or no bounce?! I guess the no bounce is propaganda, to be buried until after the Dem convention when Clinton will likely get a bounce, offsetting some or all of Trump’s? Figure once all the dust settles over the next 2-3 weeks we’ll see Trump in nice lead, one that media won’t be able to bury.

Yes, the word 'dark' didn't enter my mind while watching Trump's speech. It's just the latest media narrative regarding Trump. It's the latest spin from Pravda - and speaking of Pravda, there were quite a few Soviet flags at the Democrat convention.

"The Hill: Dems Stunned At Trump's RNC "Bounce"
Worried Democrats say they thought some of the dark themes that Trump and his allies raised in Cleveland wouldnt gain traction in modern-day America.
Yet a flurry of polls have suggested that the GOP presidential nominee is ahead or in a dead heat with presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
Some Democrats cant believe they are in a close race."
Hmmmmm. Apparently only the propagandists believed their own propaganda.
Bummer.

Clinton did lose 4 or 5 points over the FBI report also so that will be the story going out — nothing Trump did except getting lucky in his choice of opponent.

I am reminded of an old Red Skelton skit in which a wildly popular performer was being registered on the “Applause Meter”, and the MC (Red Skelton) was holding the needle back most valiantly, while some very mediocre performer that followed could scarcely get the meter to move at all, for which the MC was striving to manually pull the needle up to a decent level, and finally declaring the mediocre player the “winner”, whereupon the audience turns upon the MC.
I think the character was “San Fernando Red”.

Theres another thread on FR from NBC that says no bounce exists.

Remember too, these are the "experts" that have consistently ruled that Trump didn't have a chance in the primaries, in the debates, at the RNC convention in the general election.

The Dems are so used to Republicans playing nice and being constantly on the defensive. Now that the Republicans are going after the Dem candidate with the same vigor the Dems usually do, they’re in panic mode.
