So there you have it. The GOP electoral problem hasn't been dumbocrats, it's been GLOBALISM. Trump rejects GLOBALISM and everything changes.

I think Trump will sweep the rust belt states from Wisconsin to Michigan to Ohio to PA to WV.

They know who is on their side and who is not.

That should get him over the top.

You are correct. If the GOP had become a populist/nationalist party in the 90s they would have won most every election for 60 years. All they had to do was curb this massive LEGAL immigration, stop illegal immigration, do better trade deals & attack political correctness.

It gets called globalism but what it actually pans out to be is that we buy foreign stuff on the cheap on America’s credit card with our workers now forced into idleness on their duffs, while not selling nearly as much to foreigners.

Actual balanced TRADE would be quite a different affair.

I hope you’re right. I hope it’s that simple. It’s something I’ve rejected for a long time, and have been attacked more than once over it here at FR.

Anyway, I still believe the people in PA are drones, and when it comes time to vote, they’ll vote Dem because it’s what their parents did, and what their grandparents did.

Exactly, once the party kicked the globalists like Mitt Romney and Bush to the curb, we can start winning elections again.

50 State sweep could be in order, just depends on how motivated our voters are (they are) and how demotivated the establishment voters are (they will probably sit home).

New Jersey and New York are in play as well. These states have tons of suburban and rural areas that hate Hillary. The urban areas are full of gibmedats and losers, but if they are not motivated by an inspirational black Santa clause like the last two elections, they would rather sit home.

That would win... except that the flow of donated dollars would dry up.

Imagine taking even California, if only by a hair.

Even drones eventually begin to recognize signs of starvation, though.

I predicted this. I knew Trump's message would heavily resonate with typical blue collar Union democrats. Trump's message is also making deep inroads into the Black vote, and at least holding it's own with Hispanics.

I wanted Cruz to win the Primary, but I have been saying since last year that if Trump wins the Primary, he's going to win the General in a massive blow-out. He will probably have the most lopsided victory in American History.

Maybe 49. I just don’t see Utah going Trump.

I certainly hope you’re right. I thought they’d wake up in 2012, now I’m skeptical they’ll ever wake up. They may just starve rather than dirty themselves voting Republican.

I think Trump will sweep the rust belt states from Wisconsin to Michigan to Ohio to PA to WV.

If it picks up enough momentum, he might even win New York and California. There is nothing better than being a winner to increase your margin of winning. If people think your win is going to be inevitable, a lot of them want to get on your bandwagon.

The Mormons of Utah, leading up to the election, might find themselves in some interesting discussions of the meaning of the term “Pyrrhic.”

There’s such a thing as starvation of honor, though. Your gummit cheese might fill bellies, but never souls.

I am with you on that point 99.9999% of the time.

But not this time.

The Yinzers are genuinely excited to vote for Trump. They blame NAFTA and related bad trade deals for decimating the local economy for working people. So long as Trump does not go wobbly on this issue they'll crawl over broken glass to vote for him.

And have Reagan choose somebody OTHER than George H.W. Bush as his running mate.
