Sounds like a hot night in Philly>>> not hot enough or raining enough. I made it thru the black lives matter march down broad street @ 5 tonight. they were very nice no issues. rode my bike upstream and was accommodated without incident. i did not have my trump hat on. but did have S&W collapsible baton and two canisters of pepper jell. lots of cops on bikes in front and behind.

Little Seamus was climbing up into my lap tonight to get his cookie treat and his mother gave a short distinct grunt, to which he responded immediately by lowering himself back to the floor. But he stayed there with a front 'hand' on my leg until he got his cookie! That little one has the sweetest face.

All three generations showed up again this evening. But grandma (Miss BG, the first to tame me) came around at three-thirty today, in this heat! I figured she was thirsty but she ate a pan of water soaked food.

Interestingly enough the DNC put a huge wall around the event with a big door in it, and they could only come and go legally.

i drove by at around 10:20 or so and i didn’t notice much but i was on 95 making sure i didn’t run into a parked state police car. They parked them all over 95. i was thinking maybe they were part of the protest.
