I’ve had CFA as a sort of catered lunch for a small group meeting (St Louis, MO). It was awesome food.
Well, we’re having corn chowder leftover from last night, and chicken salad on croissants.
Believe me, if there was a Chick-fil-A within driving distance, I’d really have to consider that!
Grill chicken before starting sauce
sauce:
1 cup chicken broth
1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon finely chopped cilantro
Heaping tablespoon of finely chopped onion
If you want more spice, you can add red pepper flakes (1/2 tsp)
3 tablespoons heavy cream
2 tablespoons cubed butter
Sauté onions is small amount of butter...add broth, lime juice, cilantro, and pepper flakes if using. Bring to boil. Allow to boil gently, uncovered until thickened and reduced to about 1/3 cup.... Once reduced, lower heat, add cream and butter... Serve over your grilled chicken.
Another technique is to double recipe... Once you are at the stage you've added the cream and butter, you can add the four chicken breasts to the sauce and let them simmer together a few minutes ... Serve with extra sauce over the chicken....

Trump will reduce both of them to incoherent babble. Obama has a job, he (obviously) won't be doing it (things will happen), and the contrast with Trump is going to be jarring.

Tonight a wonderfully tender minute steak with baked potatoe

For a week not cooking necessary. Just wonderful pork , beef and chicken from local farmers Cooked by their loving families.

Oh I am so jealous! The Du Quoin state fair happens around Labor Day, but the fair food is nowhere near that good.
We do have an excellent little meat market just down the street though, so that is a bonus. They’ve been closed for vacation for the past 2 weeks, and I can’t wait until they open tomorrow - I’m out of bacon!
