We've been through a couple of withering days, Kathy. On top of the triple-digit heat indexes, our 40 year-old heat pump finally gave up the ghost.
The contractors worked all day and it's only within the last half-hour that we have had a functioning A/C system. The ambient temperature is descending through the 80's.

A little cooler out here, I just did some grocery shopping today and had a yummy shrimp basket down at the VFW for lunch.
I had my ear on 0bama's DNC speech and was busily mocking liberals on FB at the same time. HEY, I can multi-task!
