We've been through a couple of withering days, Kathy. On top of the triple-digit heat indexes, our 40 year-old heat pump finally gave up the ghost.

The contractors worked all day and it's only within the last half-hour that we have had a functioning A/C system. The ambient temperature is descending through the 80's.
