Had very uneven experiences at this chain of sh%tholes in IL and CA staffed by a$$holes. No more uneven experiences now as I will never darken their doorstep again.

Too bad she wasn’t gay, that would have provoked outrage and maybe a Dept of Justice visit.

Basically, the worker has the right to refuse service to the officer, but the employer has the right to fire the worker because the worker’s objection to serving the police officer is not protected by law.
Of course, the rest of the workers might choose to form a union, in which case the employer and the union would have to negotiate in good faith over the matter.
