I do know this: This election will be close. VERY close. Trump may be leading now, but this will be close from now til Nov. 8. College, high school, and NFL football season is coming back, and some folks will not pay attention to this until debate time.

Hillary is the first woman nominee for President of a major party. There have been other women nominees for President. This year Jill Stein will be the nominee of the Green Party.
The Dems love to emphasize the "historical" nature of Hillary's nomination in much the same way they did with Barack Obama. I guess we must elect Hillary and genuflect to this historical moment. Odd to hear an alleged Freeper spouting the Dem line.
Trump winning the GOP nomination for President, his first attempt at running for elective office, is also an historical moment. Some would call it revolutionary.

A victim group for President is only historic for the Dems but not for Americans.

I graduated with an engineering degree in the early 80’s. I was educated well and honed my skills well over the years. But being accepted into a man’s world was not easy. I managed to get there and have a lot of respect among my coworkers, more respect than my male coworkers get. It took hard work, many hours more than my male coworkers had to spend, to get that respect. Not that I needed to work more hours to get the same amount of work done correctly, but it was to gain the same amount of respect. I’m 35 years into my career and the incoming calls don’t stop. I’ve worked hard for the respect I get, much harder than others that got it automatically.

I never said I was proud of “this thing” Hillary. I said I was proud of the moment. She is a slap in the face to women and she’s nothing to be proud of. But the MOMENT is something I felt pride for.
Sorry if you guys can’t understand the difference between feeling pride for the moment that a woman is nominated for a major party’s run for presidency and that that same person is embarrassed that Hillary was the one that got there....
And if you can’t understand the difference, maybe you should make a try at it. You might even help our party win the next election.
Tonight, at her anchor desk at the convention site she was almost drooling over Clinton and her "great speech", Chelsea, etc. ad nauseum.
I'll bet Megyn has been promised a high-profile job in a Hillary administration. She's too ambitious to be content with being stuck at a Fox news desk for the rest of her career.

You may be right, but I’ll contend that Bill’s ego is such he will never let Hillary surpass him in history. As far as he’s concerned there will be only one Clinton who will ever make it to the White House and that’s him!
Trump is the first nominee since Eisenhower that never served a day in public office, he’s from the private sector.

Hillary is going to be on the Sunday Fox show with Wallace. She is on a charm offensive with Fox, which is beaming because she is appearing on their show. No doubt a softball interview so she can keep coming back. Murdoch probably convinced her it would help her against Trump.
