My guess is what will happen is the she’ll engineer some kind of huff or butt hurt at something Trump does, says or that he insists on some condition, etc.
One thing I do know is that she will INSIST on no questions about the email server because she has already been ‘cleared’ and that no questions on Benghazi because that investigation is also ongoing.
If she's so scared that she hasn't had a press conference in a year, who can be certain that she'll show up to debate Trump? "Because Donald Trump is so mean."

It would be fun to see Trump, Jill Stein and Gary Johnson debate an empty chair, but unfortunately the polling threshold is 15% and I doubt Stein or Johnson will ever get there.

Look at how it treated milquetoast Rick Lazio in 2000. Look at how it was treated in 2008 and again in 2016.
No, it knows Trump will bait it and move in for the kill shot. It is not going to let that happen. It can’t play the vagina card, Trump will have none of it.
So, if it knows it won’t get preferential treatment, it won’t go and there is no compulsion to do so. Look for this to be the end of debates.
Given that even the fawning MSM was not exactly rousing in their approval of Hillary's acceptance speech, I think everyone realizes Hillary has a between a rock and a hard place choice: do the debates and she could get destroyed by Donald Trump in no time flat or decline the debates and Hillary will be viewed as evasive (not a good place to be in a Presidential election!).
