The newspaper is following their globalist paymasters. Going from Romney to Clinton is an obvious no-brainier.

Which has more readers? The Houston Chronicle or Trumps Twitter account?

You have to wonder if they know how to read. How can they possibly look at the email national security information and look at the Clinton foundation pay for play and endorse Clinton?

Only one way.

They simply don’t care about corruption.

Good call. I hope this backfires. All of these Republicans who, in 2008 and 2012 who said, “Support the party!” are now abandoning the choice of the VOTERS need to be herded OUT of leadership.

I am done with them. Eric Cantor’s defeat should have been their canary in the coal mine.

I am NOT done with the Republican Party.... we conservatives have EVERY RIGHT TO access the resources the apparatus of the organization. I mean the PEOPLE who are resisting us.... THEY need to be excused.

It endorsed Romney on October 21, 2012. What’s surprising here is the very early date for a general election endorsement.

Liberal.

Doesn’t matter because Trump will win TX in the fall.

That’s pretty much like a NY Times, Philly or Chicago paper endorsement. All bird cage liners. Doesn’t mean squat.

You sure hit that nail on the head. Ask 10 people if they’d rather get news from the boring, lockstep MSM—print or tv, it doesn’t matter—or go online and select certain sites as news-sources, and 9 people will enthusiastically prefer the Net. The news is more interesting, less biased (depending, of course, on how you pick your sites) and far more convenient. Win-win-win.

“Did the Chronicle endorse Romney or Obama the last time?”

They endorsed Romney because 80% of the their readers were going to vote for Romeny anyway - and they want to keep their readership.

And, as I noted elsewhere here, BECAUSE ROMNEY WINNING TEXAS WAS NOT AN ISSUE - he was going to win here, and it was not going to have any impact nationally.

But their endorsements are 100% DEMOCRAT in every close race involving conservatives, and sometimes Democrat in the not-so-close races.

Move the Chronicle Editorial Board to Ohio and Florida, and you will NEVER see a Republican endorsed for President.

“What’s surprising here is the very early date for a general election endorsement.”

They FEAR TRUMP GETTING traction and are trying to stop it. Sounds like a coordinated attempt by the media, yet again, to stop him.

I’d hate to be working at their subscription desk today!

The Houston Chronicle is mainly purchased for the bra ads from Macy’s.

Other than that it has no value.

I dropped it years ago because of the editorial stance as well as some of their news reporting.

There are very few news posts in this forum from the Chronicle. There is good reason for that lack of exposure.

It’s garbage.

The Chronicle (”Comical”) endorses only democRATs generally.

The “hoods” in Houston and Dallas as well as the hippy colony in Austin are blue stains on the State of Texas!

It’s liberal with a rapidly declining circulation. This is no surprise. The Feminazi’s at the Chronicle would wet their pants if the editorial board didn’t do this. It will only cause the circulation to decline further.
