I don't feel any better about this than if somebody told me at the time in 1968 when I was in Vietnam there are 5,000 Communists serving in our military.
It would have put my hair on end then and it does the same now.
And it would be wise to figure out a way to determine which ones are radicalized islamic muslims and which ones are not. Perhaps for now, furlough all 5,000 - until we can figure out "what's going on" (which will help in preventing another Ft. Hood!)

Let’s replace “Muslim” with “Bader Meinhof Gang”:

If you try the same thing by replacing “Muslim” with KKK, IRA, Italian Red Brigades, Viet Cong, FARC, or even “The Symbionese Liberation Movement”, they simply do not work, because they are not the same. Nothing personal here, drop 50 and fire for effect, but they simply doesn’t work for the reason they are NOT the same thing.
We certainly had communists in our military back then, and for a few years after.
But your point is well taken.
We had ethnic Germans in the military as well, just as we have ethnic arabs today.
But in the same way that an ethnic German is not the same as a Nazi, an ethnic arab is not the same as a Muslim.
But we all know “ethnic Arabs” are not the ones being talked about here, in general.
On the contrary; The more the general public is aware that our very MILITARY is infested with Mooselimbs, the MORE they will become suspicious, cynical, and revolted by the notion.

Ali Mohammed, look the name up. He was a Muslim, supposedly a good guy who trained with special forces. He was working for the worldwide Jihad, and had his tentacles into highly ranked officials. Read the book “Triple Cross” by Peter Lance and understand how deeply our country has been penetrated, and for how long. Michelle Bachmann was correct, and still is. As during FDR’s reign we had the communists move into positions of power and influence, so now we have Muslims use the same route.
If there are moderate Muslims, they are heretics according to the Koran. Real Islam is incompatible with freedom and tolerance. It can’t coexist in peace.
Smarter immigration decisions, like those proposed by Trump, can save the lives of American civilians and military personnel in the future - regardless of their religion.
Democrats always pretend that everyone else has the same biased, simplistic, group based thinking that they do, and try to project their own guilt and prejudice onto everyone else. It is too bad Mr. Khan fell for their nonsense.
There was plenty of great architecture built by tyrants and their subjects, and even vile dictators have built some impressive buildings and skylines.
When it comes to the values of our society it is hard to find them expressed in nations where Sharia law is in effect. It is obviously true that people who are Islamic, but don't subscribe to the radical versions of Islam may also share Western values and believe in the same things American conservatives do. That's why they are the victims of attacks just like others opposed to radical Islam. Captain Khan is almost certainly in that category.
Among those skyscrapers are many people with values antithetical to the values our nation is based on. There is no reason to import their ideas to our nation, nor should we be anxious to subsidize their lifestyle by buying their oil.
People who share our values, and goals for the future should be welcomed to our nation. People whose goal is to institute a government based on religious tyranny should look elsewhere.
