There are self-efforts and then powers that come from embracing the Holy Spirit.
God does NOT help those who help themselves. Satan is the agent there.
God DOES help those who embrace HIS SPECIFIC HELP.
Believe what you want.
If a person is closed off to the Holy Spirit, God cannot help them.
