The article says that it can accommodate 4140 people at banquet tables but they cut his event off at 1000.

I would be curious to find out if any other politicians have used the space and how many were allowed in for them.

usually there are ten people to a banquest table, so with circulation space, that is a huge room.

Today’s event was a seated onem with people in chairs.

Even with chairs, you could another 3,000 in auditorium style seating in the rest of the room, most likely much more.

Exits are sized and placed for the maximum number of people.

This is a freakin’ convention center, not Johnny’s Bar and Hall.

The fire marshal is an ass.
