Ryan is going to win and it won't be close. No one will even know the name of his opponent one week from now.
Ryan, Walker, and Johnson are the Republican Party in Wisconsin.
In order to have any chance in Wisconsin, Trump at the very least needs not to be seen petty by Wisconsin republicans.
Trump's endorsement or lack of it has NO bearing on this primary. Ryan wins big with or without it.
I think it's unlikely that the Ryan-Walker-Johnson team gets enthusiastically behind Trump regardless of what he says or does.
But at this point, Trump's endorsement may work to prevent them from actively campaigning against him.
He had nothing to lose here. Hopefully, there will be something to gain.

I fully believe what he had to do last night hurt him emotionally, spiritually more than the rest of us......Did you not see his body language or watch his face.....or hear the inflection in his voice?

Once Ryan and McCain win their primaries they will be free to stab Trump in the back by rescinding their endorsements of Trump at a time most beneficial to Hillary. A coordinated announcement by major GOP politicians in mid October denouncing Trump and endorsing Hillary may be this year’s October surprise.
If Trump loses, Ryan will be the establishment front runner for 2020. Once he gets past his primary he will do whatever the donors and the party powers want him to do about Trump.
As for McCain, this is his last show. If he wins the primary he is free to go full maverick. No doubt Schumer is talking to him about flipping to Democrat in January if the Senate is tied 50-50.
Actually I can see a scenario where Trump wins the presidency and the GOP retains the Senate by a one or two point margin. Following the final results, McCain, Flake, Collins, and a couple of other Rinos announce they cannot work with Trump and switch parties. The Schumer led Senate then blocks every Trump program.

The "signs" that you've listed, have been bunched up, like that, over and over and over again, throughout history. If you want, I can go through quite a list, juts off the top of my head, but as late as during the Cold War, people were going through Revelations with a fine tooth comb, saying that the dragon is, of course China, the bear is of course the USSR, etc. and 60 years later, here we all are still and the Christ has NOT yet come again.
