There isn’t a U.S. Senate election in Illinois until 2020, when Durbin is up. I heard a brief mention last week that he might run for governor in 2018. If he is crazy enough to do that and wins, his seat will be empty, and we all know that Michelle has what it takes to fill a seat.
I must be missing the “Obama for Senate” line on the bumper sticker.
