Today I will walk out, today everything unnecessary will leave me,
I will be as I was before, I will have a cool breeze over my body.
I will have a light body, I will be happy forever,
nothing will hinder me.
I walk with beauty before me. I walk with beauty behind me.
I walk with beauty below me. I walk with beauty above me.
I walk with beauty around me. My words will be beautiful.
In beauty all day long may I walk.
Through the returning seasons, may I walk.
On the trail marked with corn pollen may I walk.
With dew about my feet, may I walk.
With beauty before me may I walk.
With beauty behind me may I walk.
With beauty below me may I walk.
With beauty above me may I walk.
With beauty all around me may I walk.
In old age wandering on a trail of beauty, lively, may I walk.
In old age wandering on a trail of beauty, living again, may I walk.
My words will be beautiful.

Thanks for your hopeful words to Mr. Jessop.
Mr. Jessop I have an 83 year sister who was supposed to be dead over 3 1/2 years ago. I will pray for you and we all want you to know how much we laughed over some of your musings when we needed to.
May God hold you and yours in the hollow of His hand.
To: mkjessup
Mark,
May GOD keep you and Bless you.
Prayers for you and your family.
So sorry to hear about your illness.
May you be here for the celebrations in November and January.

Oh, no! You are handling it with grace, but I am shocked. Forgive me for expressing it.
May God be your constant companion in every matter, large and small.

So sorry to hear of your trouble. May God bless you and yours. My only recommendation is to pray a lot and try Transcendental Meditation. It might help.

Sad to hear this news.
Saying Psalm 121 for you. The Traveler's Psalm.
My family has been reciting it for 5 generations whenever any of us have embarked on a journey. As a member of the FReeper family, may your journey be filled with many wondrous awakenings and revelations.

I hope you find some alternative paths that keep you running and comfortable. I had similar issues in 1985. Fortunately, surgery and 3000 RADs through my gut solved the problem. The treatment is often worse than the malady. You have team FR here for support.

I may not be able to always respond to each and every FReeper, especially when the eyes are having trouble focusing, and while no one wants to go, I am preparing myself for that eventuality and your prayers for me mean so much that you cannot imagine.
I will share two things with you all, first pictures of my beloved parents who predeceased me (Dad in 2007, Mom in 2015), I could not ask for two more finer parents. My Dad was a veteran of World War II, served in the United States Army from 1942 through the end of 1944 when he was wounded by a Jap sniper on the islands of Peleliu. He was the most remarkable man I have known in my life. My Mom was likewise an amazing lady, a small town girl from central Florida, she did her part with her sisters and family on the 'home front' when nobody knew if Nazi subs might sneak in on the shore at night to unload weapons of sabotage.
I include pictures of them below, and I know that Dad would tell me to 'hold on Son' and not to give up the fight, and I have already promised to do my best not to do that.
My own service was pretty inconsequential, I spent some very safe and peaceful years working in the United States Navy at NAVSEASYSCOM in Washington, our section was tasked with scheduling and organizing submarine maintenance and upgrades, enforcing 'SUBSAFE' standards (Navy types will know what I'm talking about) and I'm very pleased to say that we never lost a boat. The 'Silent Service' are my boys, nobody ever knew who I was and that's ok, as long as I did my job properly as my Dad encouraged me to do, it's all good. I can sure tell you that if I get to meet the greatest President in our history (Ronald Reagan, who else?) that I will be thanking him from the bottom of my soul for rebuilding our armed forces, and leading us to victory in the Cold War.
It is ironic that I posted this vanity on 14 August 2016, which is
VJ DAY and I found this video a number of years ago and hope you will all enjoy it if you've not already seen it. My only regret is that my Dad did not live long enough for me to burn a copy of this for him, I know that he would have wept just he probably did 71 years ago.
So once again, I weep for him and I know that somehow, we will one day find the America portrayed in this wonderful film by a man 'Richard Sullivan', our best days are still ahead of us, please pray for our honored military forces.
