Forgiveness can’t be taught. It is a fruit of the Holy Spirit...a by-product of love.
The administration’s blatant efforts to keep Middle Eastern Christian refugees out of the USA is a crime against humanity. They don’t vote Progressive in lock-step like their Muslim oppressors so they’re not welcome here.
I’m a regular contributor to the Iraqi Christian Relief Council, what’s been done to these people in the last eight years is a true disgrace.
That some refugees are good does nothing to prove that the bad ones are good.
But nobody was arguing that.
Indirectly at least, by attracting a “stink reputation” to refugees in general.
Any sane test that a Trump administration would apply, would open the gate for more of this but for fewer jihadists.

First impression I got was, “look, a new form of Taqiyya”, using an alleged “Christian” girl to teach us Americans that we need to forgive the evil ISIS members and admit them into the U.S. because they promise they’ll be good.

The operative word there is Christian.
I can forgive a memorial to the strife of islam. That’s about it.
I can even find it in my heart to forgive them for a lot that they do. That’s not the problem.
My problem is that my 2 year old Daughter will grow up in a world where she can potentially be gang raped, acid-burned or simply killed by a group of them.
It’s not what they have done, it’s what they WILL do. They need to be eliminate, their artifacts completely wiped out and their books burned. History should be stained with their bloody brain matter.

"Disgrace" is an understatement at the least. Abomination is more like it.
Islam is a weak religion, and it attracts bullies as adherents. Islam has no intellectual thread tethering it to truth; it has only violence and the threat of violence to compel people into its ranks. The story of Mariam bears witness to the power of their faith. We should all pray for the same for our loved ones and communities.
