Steve Bannon: The 'street fighter' who's now running Trump's campaign
CNN ^ | Brian Stelter

Posted on 08/17/2016 7:58:47 AM PDT by RoosterRedux

Donald Trump's hiring of Breitbart News executive chairman Steve Bannon is a signal that nothing is off-limits between now and November 8.

Bannon, a former Navy officer and Goldman Sachs investment banker, has been a conservative media executive for years. Now, suddenly, he is the Trump campaign's CEO, making him one of Trump's top advisers. The appointment formalizes what has been an informal and beneficial relationship between Breitbart.com and the campaign.

The far-right Breitbart website, founded by the late Andrew Breitbart, publishes a dash of news with a heavy dose of conservative opinion. It has been an unapologetic booster of Trump, critic of Republican establishment figures like Paul Ryan, and attack dog against Hillary Clinton.

Breitbart has celebrated moments when Trump's rhetoric has hewed closely to the site's editorial position.

"Trump Echoes Breitbart: Battle with Islam 'Like The Cold War,'" read one headline earlier this week.

It has also advocated for Trump's populist, nationalist policy positions. Last month the site started selling "Breitbart Border Wall Construction Co." T-shirts.

Breitbart has also touted conspiracy theories about Clinton's health and published dozens of stories about Bill Clinton's alleged treatment of women, with headlines like "The Secret Sex Abuse Victims of Bill Clinton."

*snip*

His harnessing of media megaphones led Bloomberg to call him "the most dangerous political operative in America" in a profile last year.

With the addition of state offices and TV asvertising there was need to add coordinators / managers at the top

Kelly Ann is known for her work with women in the electorate. She is considered an expect in the field. She already has a meeting with Ivanka this afternoon. Expect to see more of the Trump women.

“Wait a minute... Fox News now says Trump promoted pollster Kelly Anne Conway to campaign manager... Bannon as Chief Executive Officer.”

She’s more than that. She ran Ted Cruz PACs.

“In August 2015, she became the president of the Promise I Super-PAC which supports the 2016 presidential campaign of Ted Cruz and is part of a group of 4 super-PACs supporting Cruz. Its main funding was 11 million dollars from hedgefund manager Robert Mercer.[4]”. Wikipedia.

Bannon knows all the dirt on Hillary. Peter Schweizer, author of Clinton Cash, works for Bannon.

Manafort’s Russian troubles simply dictate that new faces on TV are neeeded . . . he’s not gone, but may be phased out if it becomes necessary. Bannon and Conway are good moves.

They are keeping their powder dry!...............

The Hillary! campaign is spending money on TV ads like drunken sailors on shore leave!

In New York and California of all places.

They will run out of money before the end, unless they tap in to Clinton Foundation coffers as a ‘loan’....................

The far-right Breitbart website

That’s cute. I see thaa tlready progressives in both parties and there media surrogates are lumping us in with White Supremacists. The next stage is to call us racist and try to marginalize those who support pro-American policies.

Goldman Sachs- of course. Seems everyone in Washington politics has a connection to Goldman Sachs. Too big to fail indeed.
