Interesting feedback from Flynn who said that the information in the intelligence briefing was high quality and credible.

I surmised yesterday on a thread that Flynn's presence there signalled
he has been chosen for SecDef, and that Christie would be SecState?
Why would these 2 be chosen otherwise?

Good!

The MSM is screeching, but certainly Trump can be trusted with such information — unlike Hillary, who already proved herself untrustworthy.

It doesn’t follow at all. In fact, a president’s closest advisors usually are NOT cabinet officers. For instance, Flynn might be more likely to be selected as National Security Advisor (who serves in the White House not the Pentagon) and Christie might be more likely to be in the White House as either Chief of Staff or as a “Senior Advisor” type behind the scenes.

I say “might” because we just don’t know. From the fact that Flynn and Christie were included we can infer that they are likely to receive some key appointment in a Trump admin. but not necessarily Defense or State.

I would hope the CEO in Trump will start asking the briefers questions that will steer them into the areas to be reported on. And since he will know the briefers will also be debriefed by Obama officials. He should bait them with odd comments to throw off everyone.

I’m not sure this was at the briefing itself, but Trump held a brains trust meeting the other day and there was a pic of him and all these guys and gals around a table and, man, it was impressive, like he was president already. You know the one I’m talking about?

Christie will be either AG or head of DHS.

I heard Amb. Bolton on Breitbart this morning that there was some concern going in that the intel could be slanted by the briefers to favor Hillary and that Flynn’s presence was to insure that didn’t happen.

My question is that if that could happen then I would ask that one team member be allowed to go as an observer to each others briefing to make sure their getting the same intel.

Trump can stop the screeching by simply saying that he won’t have any Muslim brotherhood tied advisors receiving classified information from him. That will force them to address what he is referring to.

Christie as Sec State?? No foreign policy bonafides. Might be better targeted as Homeland Security Sec - would justify his presence...

I saw what you are talking about. I believe Giuliani was there as well. I came away with the same impression.

It would be awesome to have stellar, sound people at the helm again. Not that all in the Obama admin weren’t, but they were severely limited by his bent leadership.

Some said they were just there to make sure the intel was legit.
