Yes, that was Bill Bennett's point: we shouldn't waste our time on the NeverTrumpers. Bennett nailed them for their “moral superiority”. It was a good interview, and an effective one, given that Bennett really is/was good friends with many of these NeverTrumpers. I'm sure Bennett didn't back Trump early in the primary season, but he is putting country first and putting his own vanity aside. If some NeverTrumpers are no longer friends with Bennett, I'd bet it's they who have dumped Bennett, not the other way around.
What is REALLY stunning is to see some of these “Never-Trumpers” appearing in HILLARY COMMERCIALS!!!!!
They have totally jumped the rails and no longer have any right to call themselves “Conservatives”.

Yes, this is more like it. The Never-Trumpers have an agenda to protect. They have no substantial complaints about Trump himself because Trump has no political history for them to attack. They are just afraid of losing “fat cat” status with their lobbyist money sources and other schemes they have going....and unlike them, Trump does not need to lie or fill his bank account.
Bennett is a good man and a patriot. It would behoove Trump to tap him and Law Prof. Ed Meise.
Hindsight is as they say 20/20. I, back when I listened to Rush, remember him talking about the book 'Bell Curve'... What the 'Bell Curve' totally ignored was 'common sense'. It was strictly based upon man's measurement of IQ. As I have discovered, high, man measured IQ is NOT reflective of literal common sense. But the prophets and wordsmiths of so called conservatism have demonstrated they produce nothing of value and are so secluded into their own tiny world of profit they are blinded by their own self absorbed intellect. I consider it reflective in the whole 'body' of Christ, wherein the 'toe' is just as functional and rewarded as the mouth. These of 'we are superior' mentality have exposed themselves as naked worshipers of their own personal bank accounts... Ugly from within and even worse than the literal progressive sellouts that they apparently are willing to crawl into bed with.
Maybe it is the Scottish in me or even my German ancestry, who knows, but Trump speaks 'wisdom' in the short form this bunch do NOT have the capacity to comprehend... High, man measured IQs notwithstanding...

Good for Bill Bennett!! I can hardly stand Hugh Hewitt who has taken over after Bennett retire from his show, but Hugh’s show is a HUGE WASTE OF TIME!!! It is SO DAMN BORING!!! I actually listen to LOCAL radio most of the time that Hugh is on!!! BORING!!!!
