ANALYSIS/OPINION:
One by one, the #NeverTrumpers will fall, as they realize the only two people who have a shot at winning the White House are GOP nominee Donald Trump or his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.
Brad Thor, who has been in the #NeverTrump camp since the beginning and is a respected conservative author, came to this realization on Tuesday, throwing his support behind Mr. Trump. It wasn’t a pretty endorsement, but it was an endorsement all the same.
“Yesterday, Dr. [Hugh] Hewitt tried (yet again) to help guide America to the best (and only) option available to us. I lost a lot of sleep last night reading and then re-reading his words. I awoke this morning with a more nuanced view. Drug #1 (Hillary Clinton) will kill us — no question. Drug #2 (Donald Trump) might kill us, but it also might: A) Slow the cancer, or even B) Cure the cancer,” Mr. Thor wrote in HotAir.com, a conservative site that is part of Townhall Media.
“It’s a lot to hope for, I know, but hope is all we have left. We have exhausted every other avenue. Make no mistake — I believe one hundred percent in standing on principle. Principle, in this case though, will not cure cancer. Sadly, that crappy clinic south of the border is starting to look like our only option,” he wrote.

About a month ago, I seem to remember that it was to Glenn Beck, Thor said someone needed to assassinate Trump. Before that he was an admired conservative person.

Too late, Mr. Thor. I’ll never read another one of your books ever again. They were getting tiresome anyway, with all of them being so similar to each oter that they all just blended together in one big blob
But Thor felt free with Beck to do so. Shame on him. I won’t give my money to the benefit of authors or entertainers who don’t love America or hate conservatives. I once thought Thor was conservative, I was wrong. And he is no Vince Flynn!

I recently read his Athena Project which wasn't bad, but not nearly as good as the novel I had read just before that by Nelson DeMille, Night Fall.
I agree. Thor is a patriot, understands and appreciates France and writes excellent books. Sadly, he is slowly supporting Trump. Hopefully, people will follow Thor’s example. And he has a great name: Thor; Thor’s day; Thursday.
As far as I am concerned, the primary reason to vote for Trump is the Supreme Court vacancies. No way do I want to ever see a President Hillary Clinton appointing judges to the SCOTUS.
I still do not understand the NeverTrump stuff. I got it during the primaries, even though I disagreed, I was all in for Trump from the beginning. But now? It’s not like there’s any choice, even if you don’t like the guy. It is beyond unacceptable for Hillary to win and anyone not voting for Trump might as well just declare their support for her. I can’t see any conservative doing that.
The guy is a rude, obnoxious, arrogant yankee prick.
From what I read and hear, most of the people who have dealt with him up close and personal, and have made public comments about him, say pretty much the opposite of your comments.
Thor is a bloodthirsty jerk. But smart.
He just figured out decent people would quit buying his books because of the way he shot off his mouth with Beck.
