All kinds of STDS that should have vanished with penicillin and the original hippie movement have come roaring back with a vengeance. For one easy example, GRIDS should have barely hit the public radar, but instead of quarantine the infected we let them mince along merrily and now the death toll is at least 8 digits.

And you know what will REALLY be fun? When one or more of the now drug-resistant/immune STDS shows a mutant strain that doesn’t require bodily contact. Imagine the clap being readily spreadable by sneezes and cough instead of being avoidable by keeping your pants zipped.
