Donald Trump laid out new details in a pre-taped interview that aired Wednesday about the border wall he has called to be built on the U.S.-Mexico border.
"I think the height could be 35 to 45 feet. That's a good height. That's a good height. Anywhere in that neighborhood. Could be higher," Trump told Fox News' Sean Hannity during the second part of an Austin, Texas, town hall.
The Republican nominee said he plans to install a fence along 1,000 miles of the 2,000-mile border because only that portion needs to be reinforced.
Trump said the current border allows drug cartels to bring drugs into the U.S. and take their money back out with them.
I looked at your Con-Review article. I don’t see any attribution to Trump quoting that, but to an 2013 article ‘Gang of Eight’, and another Con Review article that does not have it.
Those guys at Con-Review are being slick by half.
I was thinking they should have female comedians doing stand up 24/7...
YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A BLEEDING HEART TROLL!!! HOW DARE YOU SEND ME CRAP LIKE THAT...GO BACK TO YOUR HILLARY CAVE AND STAY THERE...TROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good thing we have an expert who is going to build the wall.
If Trump can’t build The Wall, he’s not going to be worth spit at anything else either.
Even I, who doesn’t have the experience of Trump can see many simple, quick, ways to build the wall.
All the handwringing going on right here on FR is amazing.
See my tagline, which I’ve had for over a year.
Aaaand, he’s gone.
Good riddance.
I'm thinking bring back drive-in movies. John Wayne movies. Clint Eastwood movies. The Magnificent Seven. Once Upon A Time In The West. That kind of movies.
Seventy five years ago when the Interstate highways were being built it was standard practice to construct cement plants wherever you needed them. This avoided hauling wet concrete long distances.
“EPA will shoot it down. It will never pass environmental review.”
Trump won’t care...nor will he care what the courts say - he’ll simply cite the Constitution (i.e., common defense).
“From 2008, it’s a retaining wall alongside a new runway at SeaTac airport.”
Yea, I was wondering what that was. I remember it as being one huge earth moving project, well over 100,000 truckloads. Here’s an article from 20 years ago:

Tunnels tend to bring in drugs rather than illegals, as having a stream of illegals popping out of a quiet house tends to get noticed.
...still, I agree, they need to be blocked somehow. The best bet from him would be to enlist the pro’s - the Israelis.
“Hes not really going against Ted Cruzs seat, is he?”
Hopefully so. I certainly was no Perry supporter when he was my governor, but Cruz has all but walked away from being a conservative, given his antics.
I guess those speculators on the border are going to get a lesson or two regarding who owns the land necessary to assuring the security of the United States then...

Bump that!
Perry will likely have a spot on Trump’s admin. I’d certainly support him for Senate, over Lyin Ted, in a NY minute.
Concrete plants. Cement is the glue.
Pass a law restricting libs from building any closer than 20 miles from the coast. Just to screw with their heads.
I worked on I-15 45 years ago. We called it the cement plant. The aggregates were added in to the cement to make the concrete.
Excellent! Thanks for alerting the mods.
