Why has Donald Trump clinched the Republican Party nomination despite angering a long list of key groups of American voters? Part of his success can be explained by an element of his political base: the “alt-right”. It’s a mostly young, disparate movement which organises and congregates online, and its supporters have little in common with traditional Republicans. They are tribal and mostly sceptical about religion. They yearn for a strong leader and they loathe political correctness with a passion. Some are leading figures in the white supremacist movement, a development that frightens many mainstream Republicans who promised a more inclusive party after Mitt Romney’s defeat four years ago. And in an interesting twist, some of the leading voices in the movement come from Britain.
In this episode, David Aaronovitch finds out more about the alt-right - who are they, what do they believe, and for the next four months what role will they play in the Trump campaign and American politics at large?

Hillary is so very stupid she doesn’t realize she put Milo front and center of her campaign. And Milo will finally get his chance to be on network tv, lol! Big mistake, Hil.
I can not find any vantage point from which to view that speech that will help out Hillary. The focus seems to be to make a preemptive strike at something/someone who will rattle her cage in the future, then she can refer back to her speech as a “I told you so” or “I warned you”.
Yes! CTRL-Left makes perfect sense!
On the other hand, does anyone get what hellary is talking about? No, but pretty sure they put up a pretense of understanding.
Personally, I had no idea what alt right was referring to until I read a simple definition on FR yesterday.

I have one word for this discussion - gibberish. Good lord, do we need to create yet another divisive category in our society? Stop the insanity of trying to pigeon hole every one.

The philosophy of the Left is to view people as groups and not individuals.
I like the guy. A Gay Conservative of all things. But I'm curious as to the reaction he is getting here at Good Old FR.
For me he is a bit of a Modern Internet Version of William Buckley. (Most likely it's that British accent as much as the conservative philosophy.)
In any case, with the Alt-Right rising to the attention of the MSM in order to beat us all over the head I'm betting that this guy is going to get a lot of attention in the next couple of months. So our opinion of him is worth talking about.
I’ve been listening to Milo and Molyneux for awhile, but had never encountered the term ‘alt-right’. And I’ve never found anything ‘racist’ in them.

I first heard of Milo when someone here posted a ‘talk’ at UMASS with Milo, Steven Crowder and Christina Hoff Sommers.
While Milo is Gay and caustic much of the time, his ‘in their face’ language to SJW’s drives the point that Leftists and pRegressives have gone too far to Control all of society.

Hillary specifically targeted Breitbart and Milo, she read off two of his article titles...this will be interesting to watch, she just slammed an opinion of a Homosexual with a different ideology.
