Democrats Have Nothing to Fear but Losing Black Votes
American Thinker ^ | August 27, 2016 | Eugene Slaven

Posted on 08/27/2016 9:14:04 AM PDT by Kaslin

Donald Trump's outreach to black voters was predictably met with unbridled, laughably over-the-top scorn and derision from Democrats and their media allies – media allies who at this point are so blatantly unfair that one might think they would no longer even have the audacity to object to being mocked as Clinton shills.

Gripped by fear that Donald Trump's efforts might peel black votes from Democrats in key battleground states, the Clinton campaign has embraced the lowest brand of gutter politics: tying Donald Trump to the KKK and other white supremacist groups. While slandering Republicans as racists has been a favorite tactic of the left for decades, the offensive against Trump is abhorrent even by the left's low standards.

Setting aside the fact that unlike Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton has direct, personal ties to a former powerful KKK grand wizard, the left's line of attack against Trump is the most desperate counteroffensive since the Wehrmacht's ill-fated Battle of the Bulge gambit in the waning months of World War II.

And yet it's perfectly rational.

The centerpiece of the left's critique of Trump's speeches targeting black voters is that Trump's arguments are "condescending" to black Americans. Why condescending? Because Trump has been emphasizing the disproportionately high unemployment, poverty, and crime rates in predominantly black neighborhoods. Deliberately amplifying the most provocative snippets from Trump's substantive speeches, such as the "what the hell do you have to lose [by voting for Trump]" line, the left is incredibly claiming that citing poverty statistics is tantamount to talking down to black Americans, most of whom don't live in poverty.

Trump could mean a lot more freedom for them.

Not because of things that he is going to get the Feds (and arm twist the states) to do for them, but because of counterproductive things that he is going to STOP.

Nobody says that charity to the poor is wrong, but it shouldn’t be a political football of secular realms. It should be a ministry of churches and of other voluntary charities. Jolly sight sure that sane churches won’t be bribing black families to stay split apart, and will be furnishing a gospel quotient as they minister too.

“Diamond and Silk have a lot of the Black Community women sown up for Trump...”

Those two have been pure GOLD for the Trump campaign.
Real trend setters who made it ok for blacks to vote Trump.

They are real grassroots followers, unlike the bought and paid for Sharpton/BLM democrat plantation dwellers who only serve as house negroes for the democrats.

It would seem only a matter of time that these gals would do some kind of jazz-style promo for Donald. I’d say rap but that’s demeaning to any color, and gospel should be kept for gospel.

What they don’t see is the Mexicans their white dem masters have brought over to replace them.Few more years and dems won’t need the black vote and the Mexicans will be the slaves getting the free stuff.Mexicans can deliver entire states to dem power.Blacks could never do that..Even with 5-6 votes each.

The dem plantation owners, the sharpton/jackson race hustlers, welfare pimps, and the RINO/DNC/ramos/nieto/fox/JEB/open borders clan are in full blown panic mode right now.

Trump is like the exterminator from hell, who just set foot in the DC roach motel.

>>If Trump can peel off even 20% of the black vote...<<

Trump has the better approach by saying 95% of blacks will vote for him when they hear what he has to say. You’re right that 20% would be great, but why not ask for all the votes. The rationale for blacks dumping the Dems wholesale is certainly there.

As for the line of pessimistic thinking about blacks being for “free stuff”, lazy people are for free stuff and laziness knows no color. There are plenty of white people in the “gettin’ my free stuff” line too.

The real issue is personal responsibility and getting ahead on your own, with help provided by others only when needed. Dem policies provide “help” to keep people locked in unproductive lives; GOP policies provide help when people are truly in need. Big difference.

This is a winning issue but people need to dump some preconceptions on both sides of it for it to take a serious hold. Once it does it could mark the end of Dem power, which is why they view Trump’s move as an existential threat. It is.

And Americans of other heritages, Hispanics, Asians, are listening and watching too.

I don’t think they have anything to Fear at all, they could always easily re-activate the Klu Klux Klan, just like they did before.

“Blacks are always going to go with Democrats because they know the conservatives won’t give them so much free stuff.”

That’s cultural, not racial. It can be put right.

“Asians”

It’s amazing that Asians go with the dims, when the dims cut them out of educational preferences for being too smart.

WRONG!

The "cartoonist" (Thomas Nast) was lampooning Andrew Jackson:

"A Live Jackass Kicking a Dead Lion" by Thomas Nast. Harper's Weekly, January 19, 1870.

Somehow the RATs didn't mind being referenced as "jackasses" and only recently threw Andrew Jackass under the bus for being, well...what he was.

I’m terribly terribly sorry to break the news to you.

You haven’t shown my assertion wrong at all, no matter who originated it. You see a donkey in a political cartoon, you know who this refers to. Same about an elephant. You are screaming “Darkness” at the sun.

Yeah, you're violating his original intent. He pointed out their vile nature as far back as 1870. You're letting them off easy, giving them a pass...slipping them the tongue.

You see a donkey jackass in a political cartoon, you know who this refers to.

Yes I do.

And unlike you, I know a jackass when I see one. (you know who this refers to)

I think they should just keep doing what they are doing.
It’s authentic.
It’s heartfelt.
It’s them.

Anything else would seem like a sellout to their newfound celebrity status.
It might be good, but it wouldn’t be THEM.

Although it might be interesting to hear them sounding like some of the old Beat Poets, IMVHO they should just continue as they are.

I agree about the rap being demeaning and gospel only for songs of faith.
