After threatening to sue, the Chicago Tribune has obtained data from the city’s police department that tracks every time an officer has opened fire in the city over the past six years. The vast majority of those hit were black men or boys.
There were 435 police shootings from 2010 through 2015, in which officers killed 92 people and wounded 170 others. In all, officers fired 2,623 bullets.
The newspaper’s findings show about four out of every five people shot were African-American males. It found that about half of the officers involved were African-American or Hispanic and most of them had years of experience and were not rookies. …

I think because North Eastern Liberals made such a furror about slavery back in 1860, and because they caused such a massive upheaval and so much destruction to get their own way, they must now refuse to acknowledge that any of their subsequent policies could possibly have been a mistake.
That so many black people did not turn out to behave like "good little white people" is something they dare not and cannot admit, because it means their original premise was wrong and wrong headed. The Liberals of 1860 thought that this group of people, who were the evolutionary product of a very different region of the world, would behave like Swedes or Poles or some other European. This demonstrates that they simply did not understand the larger scientific context regarding why there is diversity on planet earth.
It's because evolved characteristics give people advantages in the environments from which they evolved.
We all came from Africa if you go back far enough. We all just acquired traits that made survival easier in our respective regions. Some of these characteristics are involved in social interaction.
People evolved to live in sparsely populated communities (such as villages in Africa) will not necessarily "play nice" when crammed into heavily populated cities. I think social behavior for densely populated areas was evolved in regions of the world where such things existed, not in African communities where the populations were never so dense.
Hunger used to force the underclass to participate. Since we aren't willing to let nature take it's course, what else ya got?
I predict sharing prosperity will not solve this problem.
Were the vast majority of misses white men and boys? Is the writer implying that black men and boys make better targets? Maybe he cops aim better when shooting at black men and boys?
There may be some truth to what you say, but a half-century ago Americans of African ancestry were sociologically in far better shape - lower illegitimacy rates than today and higher rates of two-parent households.

A few weeks ago I read parts of a book written in 1860. It presented me with ideas and a world view I had never considered. These ideas could never be published today because they are absolutely politically incorrect.
That they may be true does not matter in the slightest. Too much is invested in the current narrative now, and no dissent or correction will be tolerated.

I work in downtown Dallas and there are a lot of hard working black folks. One lady’s son was working at a Kroger and got robbed in the parking lot by a gun toting thug in an Escalade.
She wants her sons and daughters to be safe. You never hear from blacks that want to feel safe in their community because it doesn’t fit the media narrative.
I’m becoming more and more convinced that both Democrats AND Republicans want to keep racial tensions high so we don’t focus on how they are enriching themselves by screwing all of us.
That’s the main reason I am supporting Donald Trump.
So the real story is, four out of five black men shot weren’t home watching TV or studying for a job skill or helping the kiddies with their homework - like normal people would be. The "War on Poverty" was a *HUGE* success at what it was designed to do. It wasn't designed to "fix" black poverty, Lyndon Johnson was a very Racist Southern Democrat and he did not give two sh*ts about black people in poverty.
Once North Eastern Liberal Republicans got the 24th amendment passed to allow non-taxpayers to vote, Lyndon Johnson immediately recognized how valuable blacks had just became as part of a voting coalition.
Lyndon Johnson's plan flipped blacks from the Republican party to the Democrat party, and has kept them voting straight Democrat (95%) for the last 50 years.
Of course it caused a massive spike in crime due to all the fatherless households and has cost 21 trillion in direct expenditures and God only knows how much money in indirect costs, but it has kept the Democrat party in power, and that's it's main purpose.

Actually the blacks of Chicago are well armed. A black friend of mine worked helping projects people right after college and he bought a firearm illegally 2 days after arriving. He went from hating guns to carrying one with him everywhere he went just like that.
