I am sure this has probably been discussed here by now, but I did a search and didn't see anything. I don't come here often, so sorry if the post wasn't done correctly.
But what's up with Trump's using "You can't always get what you want" as the song played after each of his speeches? Is he telling us that we should go ahead on settle on him, vs. other candidates we may have wanted?
Does anyone have any explanation as to what this was chosen? It sure doesn't sound like much of a victory song! In fact, after he makes some very valid points during his speeches, this song is just a big downer, and almost negates all the good things he had just said.

I believe that Donald Trump's post-convention speech song was Free's
All Right Now which was perfect for that moment. I was hoping that it would become the official campaign song.

No s__t. Let's see if we can figure out what he means by the ties he wears...
Good grief, folks. I thought everyone knew; homo Mick Jagger and junkie Keith Richards both complained about Trump using Stones' songs at his rallies, so Trump bought the rights to "Cain't alwiz get" just to jam it up their wrinkled sphincs. He plays it to end every rally as a hilarious dig to a__holes everywhere.

And btw, I know about the Stones and what they are. But the fact remains they put out more great hits then any of them. They go down as one of the best rock groups ever. And Mick will regret what he did. Not a good move on his part.☺

Everything is Broken by Dylan would be a good send off for Barky and Hillary.

i think you got a point: music reaches the soul of many. any ad man will agonize over the choice of the right music. it seems effective rhetoric requires choice “optics” so why not choice acoustics as well.

Mr. Trump,
I respectfully suggest that you change from that cheesy rolling stones song to a proper anthem of epic grandeu.
May I be so bold as to submit Satriani’s “Flying In A Blue Dream”.

She goes running for the shelter, of her mothers little helper And it gets her on her way, helps her make it through the day
Doctor please,
Some more of these
Outside the door
She takes four more.
What a drag it is, getting old.

This here is the deal. Mrs. Sooner 'splained it to me just totally out of the clear blue as we were making a drive from one place to another and this song came on the radio. "Listen to the lyrics", she said.
"She was practiced at the art of deception
You could tell by her blood-stained hands."
