[ Racial injustice ]

Would that be Polar Beat Hunting, White girl bleed a lot or The Knockout Game?

Cut your cable and you can kill 3 birds with one stone. Liberal ESPN, Liberal Media, Over priced cable TV.

Awesome. Great. More stupid protests. Part of me hopes the PCNFL tanks.

I wonder if certain fans will decide not to stand during the anthem as a result of this?

I’m glad I quit caring about the nfl and related big sports, both pro and college (well pretty much all sports) in the mid 80s.

I think those NFL players better realize even rookies are earning at minimum aroiund eight times the wage of the average American worker in 2016. As such, if they want to protest, be aware unless they're VERY active in local community service, what they do will be viewed as sanctimonious by the average NFL fan. I think Roger Goddell better do something fast before fans start taking action that could cause tremendous public-relations harm to the league.

“If the NFL wants to go the way of the NBA, this is a good way to go about it”

The NFL should worry about going the way boxing, which was enormously popular 60 years ago, or baseball. Just because a sport is popular today does not mean that it will be popular in the future.

Little spoiled children, now playing a child’s game for money and are rabidly ignorant of what they are supposedly “protesting.” This will bite them in the ass very quickly and they will be treated as pariahs by everyone except the ignorant fools using them. A lot of people are going to take a really big fall, but only after a rude awakening.

I’m not aware of any NFL games that start on Sunday until 1:00PM EST.

Very few will join. The article is trying to gin that up.

This idiocy should simply be ignored. It will end faster that way.

If they do, it's time to tune out in droves. I have never watched pro baseball since the strike in the 90s. I figured that if those guys wanted to be a bunch of babies with no allegiance to their fans, they could go shag some flies.

I'm not much of a fan of pro football to begin with, but if this crap takes hold, I will never watch it again. It makes the baseball strike look like a childhood tantrum.

Go ahead, clowns. Cut your own throats.

" “Philadelphia Eagles rookie linebacker Myke Tavarres said Monday he plans to sit during the national anthem in a preseason game later this week. Racial injustice is too important to ignore, he told ESPN.” "

Now how f'n stupid does an (aspiring) NFL player have to be to outdo Colin Kapernick for stupidity and arrogance?

This here is the answer to that question, and yes it is possible to be even more stupid and arrogant: Pull the same hsit but be some rookie who hasn't even made the team yet.

No, the fans in Philly won't mind a bit, and your agent, remember the dude who negotiated your contract for you and who stands to either lose or gain according to how you comport yourself, oh yeah he be down with it too.

Somehow I think this guy's going to get a visit from The Turk during this week of practice.

Some other NFL team will be really impressed with his principled stand and pick him up though. /s, cracking myself up this afternoon.

Time for Crackas to boycott the NFL and let these fools work on road crews for $30,000 per year.
