Ted Cruz Supporters Running Anti-Trump TV Ads in Swing States

On March 3, 2016 Senator Ted Cruz told the FOX News debate audience he would support Donald Trump if he was the Republican nominee.

Bret Baier: Senator Cruz will you support Donald Trump if he is the nominee?

Senator Ted Cruz: Yes, because I gave my word I would. And what I have endeavored to do every day in the senate is do what I said I would do.

But Ted Cruz is not a man of integrity.

LYIN TED CRUZ refused to endorse Donald Trump at the RNC Convention.

And now his supporters are running anti-Trump ads in swing states. They are openly campaigning for Hillary Clinton.

“he’s made it clear he not only holds a grudge but is working to harm Trump’s election”

I have seen NO evidence Cruz is doing anything to harm Trump’s candidacy. You can read my earlier comments on where I agree and disagree with Cruz, if you wish:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3464166/posts?q=1&;page=136#136

While I generally find citations from Politico to be less than reliable sources of information, you do appear to be correct when it comes to this Regina Thomson person. She apparently was a major Cruz supporter that is now a key player in the Never-Trump movement.

I had to do some digging to see who some of these never trump people are. I discovered I used to work under one of them who was a major tea party and Ted Cruz supporter. I was shocked to hear that she actually said she would vote for Hillary before she would vote for Trump. That is INSANE. I lived in the same small town as this woman and worked for a brief period of time when she was a board member where I worked, and I never knew it. (I did hear some employees complain about her extreme politics, but I bit my tongue because I always identified with the Tea Party movement. But this takes the cake.)

So I guess I am willing to admit there is a horrible problem of self-identified conservatives who have joined the never trump bandwagon. So stupid.

On the other hand, I think MOST Cruz supporters, people such as myself, have the sense not to take Cruz losing the primary personally.

Even for those who doubt Trump or even dislike Trump, not supporting Trump at this point is supporting Hillary. And that is truly insane.

And thank you.

I am thinking this never trump movement is a bit like the time in the Bible where Solomon had to decide the custody of a baby where two women claimed to be the mother. He said to cut the baby in half and give each woman half. One woman thought this was a reasonable solution. The other was willing to let go to save the baby. Then Solomon knew that the one who cared for the baby was the mother and gave the baby to her. (And even if he had been wrong, wouldn’t it be better to give custody to the woman who actually cared about the baby?)

Same thing here. These Never Trump types are willing to see our nation destroyed by letting the Clintons and Democrats have it, if they cannot get their way. The Clintons don’t care about America. Trump does. Even if I disagree with him on some issues, he actually wants what’s best for the nation. That trumps ideology. (Pun intended.)

[Cruz would rather destroy this country]

Well, why not. It’s not like he’s from here.

Seems there was another young senator who ran for pResident with the same kind of attitude.

Funny, that importing foreigners ain’t working for America’s best interest. /Captain Obvious

Cruz needs to get over his delicate hurt feelings. We have two choices: Trump or Hillary. Trump, no matter how much some dislike him, would be far better than a second Civil War. Hillary would not and might quickly lead to that that war.

“Cruz never pledged to endorse, and what he chose to do is not unusual at all.”

You are wrong. This is from Politifact:

The pledge was intended to get Trump to commit to not run as a third-party candidate. At the first GOP debate on Aug. 6, Trump said he wouldn’t rule out a third-party run.

The pledge read:

“I (name) affirm that if I do not win the 2016 Republican nomination for president of the United States I will endorse the 2016 Republican presidential nominee regardless of who it is. I further pledge that I will not seek to run as an independent or write-in candidate nor will I seek or accept the nomination for president of any other party.”

Let's add more from that article, because the RNC said everyone signed that:

“So did Cruz sign the pledge? We couldn’t find a copy of the pledge itself and didn’t hear back from spokespersons for Cruz or the RNC Wednesday night.

However, in May spokespersons for Trump’s campaign and the RNC told PolitiFact Florida that all of the GOP candidates signed a pledge.”

“I agree. They despise Hillary but save their deepest hatred for Cruz.”

We all despise Hillary greatly. We all knew who she was for a very long time. I want to see her gone.

I hold a special despise for Cruz, because he was a phony, and not a traitor with no honor. He has the opportunity to get his people to come to Trump, but refuses. It is easy to speculate that he has some misplaced hope that he can defeat Hillary in 2020. He is a complete sleaze bag, who only painted himself as a”True Conservative (whatever the hell that means)” for political ambition. I want to see him gone just as badly as Clinton. He is just another clown that thinks this is all one big joke.

Cruz would rather have Cankles pick the next USSC justices than Trump.

That tells you everything you need to know.

That's it in a nutshell.

“I think though that many anti-Cruz, pro-Trump patriots here are a little inexperienced politically because they seem very naive about how primaries work and how endorsements work. “

Sentences like this, is why many Cruz supporters were kicked off this site. Although, this is much more mild than some of the arrogance many displayed.

Lying back stabbing establishment sellout Cruz will always be a major loser from here on out. I’d vote Dem before supporting this globalist sellout POS.

Ted is going to burn in Hell for actively participating in the effort to destroy a country God gave to us through His mercy.

Ted thinks this is all about himself, his fractured ego, and vengeance against Trump. He has called himself a Christian in the past; he is proving that he is NOT a Christian. Matthew 7:20 “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”

He knows what Hillary is. He knows what Obama is. By furthering their cause he is promoting evil — not a “good fruit”.

Matthew 7:23 - “And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Cruz might get some measure of satisfaction on earth if he helps Hillary take power over America, but the satisfaction will be short lived. He might take a few minutes some day and contemplate how long Eternity is, and ask himself if it’s worth it to align himself with evil on earth.

Cruz’s “I-wanna-rule-the-world” delusion is now focused on 2020. He knows he has no chance against an incumbent President Trump.

What a small, pathetic fool he is.

Isn’t it strange and amazingly coincidental that footage of a teenaged Ted Cruz saying he wants to rule the world Exists? How did it happen to get caught on tape and who saved it and remembered they had it?

“Ted does not understand how This Election may seal the fate of These United States. Stupid Boy.”

He reminds me of the two mothers fighting over the baby before King Solomon. Cruz is like the woman who was not the true mother. She was OK with having the baby divided/killed. Cruz is OK with having American divided/killed because he not truly related to America. If he loved America he would want it to survive; he would want what is best for America, not himself.

The fact that he was Canadian born is not the driver here. It’s that he is a Bushie Globalist. And so is his father Rafael Cruz senior.
