Thank you for bringing attention to this issue, which I also hope and pray can be resolved soon. I have listened to Mark Levin every single night for years on my long drive home from work every evening, often then listening further after I got home, because he was my favorite on air commentator. Ted Cruz was my favorite politician, as well, and when the primary started my hope was that even if Cruz didn’t win the nomination, his prominence would rise.

My honest opinion is that both men have been brought to their knees by their own selfish interests. I remember the exact days that each lost control of their own destiny, as I’m sure others who follow such things closely do as well.

Levin’s misstep was the night he went in full meltdown on air when it was leaked by someone that his son in law worked for the Cruz campaign, something that Levin should have acknowledged, but had kept secret. Levin went berserk and said that night he was “now part of the nevertrump movement” and he’s ground his axe on Trump ever since that night, the fate of America be damned.

Cruz was exposed the night he sided with the violent liberal mob in Chicago that was attacking Trump supporters for no reason other than they were coming to see Trump speak. Rather than use this as an opportunity to show that the left in this country is violently out of control, Cruz couldn’t help himself from attacking Trump instead. He’s also since used comparatively petty complaints about family insults as an excuse to put the future of the whole country at risk.

None of this is to say that Trump is perfect, and he is certainly a flawed character himself. But what Trump has consistently done, is to convince people that he truly cares about the future of America. He has a LOT of skin in this game, his billon dollar empire is at risk. Meanwhile Levin and Cruz have come across as petty and selfish, who put themselves above the future of the country. And Freepers are smart enough to see it.

I have never been a very big fan if Levin but I certainly agree with you on Cruz. He is a huge disappointment to me. I think I will write him and tell him how I feel. Cruz could turn it all around with me and a lot of others if he would just endorse Trump.

Agreed 100%. Having said that if Cruz had won nomination by receiving more votes than any other candidate, you betcha I would not have become a nevercruzer.
